NEW: Bodycam footage obtained by FOX45 shows Maryland State Delegate Caylin Young (D) stating that he's "ON TOP" of the law while confronting police during a domestic dispute on New Year's Eve.
Young, who had previously been charged with assault in 2023, was also accused of punching a woman less than 24 hours after this confrontation with police.
Both those charges were dropped by prosecutors.
Two weeks after the New Year's incident, Young resigned from his position in Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott's "Equity and Civil Rights" office.
