I am pleased to nominate Tony Powell to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Tony currently serves as Kansas’ Solicitor General and, previously, distinguished himself as a Judge on the Kansas Court of Appeals, and four term Kansas State Representative, where he served as the Chairman on the Ethics and Elections Committee. Tony received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, and B.A. from George Washington University. He is Highly Respected for his extensive appellate and trial experience, and his unwavering commitment to upholding the Rule of Law, and protecting our Constitution.
