Law enforcement asked them, “Are you going to stand or are you going to run away and throw us under the bus?” Their answer: “We’re going to stand.”
When Antifa charged with hundreds, hurling urine balloons and curses, the church didn’t fight back with insults. Grandmas, grandpas, teenagers, and kids locked arms, worshiped, and evangelized in love, declaring “God loves you, and He has an answer.”
Police eventually arrested Antifa, but the true victory was spiritual. Matt Shea calls it one of the greatest displays of Christianity he’s ever seen and a prophetic marker: if the church stands, the rest of the country will follow.
