I grew up in Oregon, and I remember when Tom McCall was the Oregon Governor back in the 70s. He was adamant about disinviting Californians to Oregon. There were roadside signs saying "Don't Californicate Oregon". Too bad Tom McCall's advice didn't work. Oregon today is almost as bad as California, and Washington State is right up there. We call it "The Communist Left Coast".
