Gender affirming care should be dropped for the same reasons: It is a risky elective surgery that leads to severe health complications. Our health care should not be paying for someone else's unnecessary poor choices. Gender affirming care is just a nice way of saying gender mutilation. As for gender mutilation of children, it should be a hanging offense!
