When any state tries to interfere in federal immigration policy (which includes enforcement of immigration laws) they should immediately be stripped of all federal funding. Immigration is a federal issue, not a state issue. And any state that wants to unmask ICE agents but allows masked protestors from Antifa, BLM, the Democrat Socialists, or the Social Cause of the Month Club is practicing hypocrisy of the highest sort. And it’s the pinnacle of hubris (and stupidity) for these states to think they can mandate what types of uniforms federal agents can wear.
