Ed Diehl, Oregon State Representative [R]:

How Oregon Could Lose Millions Under the New Homelessness Executive Order

"If you build it, they will come." Oregon’s homeless-industrial complex just got a massive reality check. A new federal executive order ties funding to enforcement.

Here’s how Oregon could lose big.👇

The order directs HUD, HHS, DOT, and DOJ to prioritize grants for states and cities that:

-Enforce bans on public drug use

-Clear homeless encampments

-Mandate treatment or commitment

-Reject harm-reduction policies

Oregon does the opposite.

💊 Decriminalization

⛺ Camp tolerance

🏘 Housing-first without accountability

💸 And Governor Kotek just poured $204M more into a system with no strings attached

What’s at stake?

Oregon risks losing:

-Homelessness response grants

-Addiction treatment funds

-Criminal justice diversion grants

-AND mass transit funding

Why mass transit?

Because transit hubs are hotspots for open-air drug use and encampments.

The feds are now tying transportation funding to public safety and order. If Oregon doesn’t act, DOT grants are on the chopping block.

Cities like Portland have already been flagged for encampments near train stations, bus stops, and rail corridors. That now affects scoring for:

-FTA grants

-BUILD/TIGER grants

-Urban mobility projects

The message is clear:

🚫 No more funding without enforcement

🛑 No tolerance for open-air drug scenes

⛔️ No blank checks for broken systems

There is a path to compassionate, accountable care—temporary shelter, treatment, real recovery—but Oregon's status quo isn't it. And now our failure carries and even higher price tag.

Whether Oregon changes course or doubles down will determine if it keeps or loses hundreds of millions in federal support.

Maybe this is why the Governor is trying to jack up our gas tax, double the transportation payroll tax, and increase DMV fees?

There is a responsible path forward - one based in compassionate accountability and fiscal responsibility.

So Oregon must decide:

Reform or lose funding

Accountability or decline

Because the money won't follow failure anymore."

These book are in our children's libraries even here in Coos County, Oregon. Parents look at what books your children are reading and what their teachers are teaching. If you find anything like this take it before the school, city, county boards and show

it for what it is, pedophilic child grooming material and let them know, they will be held accountable if it is not removed. If it's too offensive to be shown before the school board, then why the fuck is it in our children's libraries.
