▫372 foreigners prosecuted in six months: rape, murder, kidnapping, robbery
In the first half of 2025, 372 foreign nationals were prosecuted in Montenegro for committing 359 crimes, including murders, rapes, kidnappings, and robberies, marking a 23% increase compared to the same period last year.
Key incidents include a Pakistani national accused of raping a minor, a Turkish national arrested and three others wanted for allegedly kidnapping and abusing two compatriots, an Azerbaijani national suspected of burglary in Tivat, and a foreigner accused of hitting a 9-year-old girl with a wooden stick.
Most offenders were from Serbia (89), Turkey (57), Russia (37), #Kosovo (35), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (33).
