There is a difference between number of crimes committed as to the crime rate. Yes more crimes are committed by citizens due to a high population, and even though the number of crimes are lower among a much smaller population of illegal aliens, the crime rate is much higher due to a higher percentage of illegals committing crimes. Illegal migrants who are victims of crimes are less likely to speak out due to fear of deportation, do not worry ICE will work with you if you speak out and the concern for retaliation is justified. The system is not as callous as it may seem.
